This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Digitals Minds ("we", "us") collects through digitalsminds.com, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. By using the website you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

When you contact us through the inquiry form:

• your name and email address
• your phone or WhatsApp number and company name, if you choose to give them
• the service you are interested in and your message
• the page you sent the form from, the language of the site, and the campaign name of the link that brought you to the site (for example a Facebook advert), if any

When you apply to enroll in a course or training program:

• your full name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and city
• your CNIC number
• your CV (résumé)
• the batch you apply for, any message you add, and when you accepted our Terms and Refund Policy
• the progress of your application (for example "payment submitted" or "enrollment confirmed")

When you pay the enrollment fee: the payment method you used (bank transfer, JazzCash or EasyPaisa), the transaction ID, the amount and date, the name on the paying account if you give it, the receipt you upload, and the amount our team confirmed as received. We do not receive or store your card, bank login or wallet PIN.

When your enrollment is confirmed we create your student account, which holds:

• your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and city
• a password you set yourself (we store only a secure, scrambled version and can never see it)
• if you choose to sign in with Google, the name, email address and profile picture Google shares with us

While you are a student:

• your batch, your enrollment stage (for example onboarding, active, completed or withdrawn) and the history of changes
• the onboarding steps you have completed
• certificates issued to you
• your support requests and messages, and the notifications we send you

When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address, language, the page you signed up on, and when you confirmed your subscription.

Technical information: when you sign in, we record your IP address and browser type with your login session, and we keep short-lived records of attempts to sign in or submit forms so we can stop abuse.

How we use your information

• to reply to your inquiry and discuss your project
• to process your application, check your identity and suitability for the program, and verify your payment
• to create and run your student account once your enrollment is confirmed
• to place you in a batch and manage your enrollment, onboarding, schedule and records
• to show you your class schedule and joining links, and remind you about classes by email and notification
• to send you notices about your batch, such as schedule changes and holidays
• to issue certificates of completion
• to answer your support requests
• to send you service emails, such as your application link, payment and enrollment updates, password set-up and resets, support replies and certificates
• to send you our newsletter, only if you have confirmed your subscription
• to keep the website and your account secure
• to understand how visitors use the website, only if you accept analytics cookies (see below)

We use your information because you asked us for a service (your inquiry or enrollment), because you gave your consent (newsletter, analytics cookies), or because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting our website and business.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• members of our team who need it to help you (access is limited by role: your CNIC number and CV are visible only to our Super Admins, and batch coordinators see only the students in their batches)
• Hostinger, which hosts our website, database and email
• Google, when you choose to sign in with Google, and, if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics
• Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams, when you join a live class through the link we give you (their own privacy policies apply)
• WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us there
• authorities, if the law requires it

Certificates: anyone who has a certificate ID can open its verification page, which shows the name on the certificate, the course title, the issue date and the ID. No other details are shown.

Cookies and similar technologies

• Essential cookies keep you signed in, and keep your private application link working on your device after you open it from our email (for up to 60 days). The website cannot work without them.
• Your browser's local storage remembers your cookie choice. Its session storage remembers, for the current tab only, the campaign link that brought you to the site and whether you have already seen our opening animation.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are set only if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

How long we keep information

• Inquiries: for as long as needed to respond and follow up, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Applications (including your CNIC number and CV): as long as needed to process your application and keep a record of your enrollment, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Accounts and enrollment records: while your account is active, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Payment records and receipts: as long as we need them for our accounts and the law, or until you ask us to delete your account.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. We keep a record that you unsubscribed so we don't email you again.
• Login sessions and abuse-prevention records expire automatically.

Your choices and rights

• Access and correction: you can see and edit your profile in your student portal, or email us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Deletion: email us to delete your account. We will delete your account, applications (including your CNIC number and CV), payment receipts and enrollment records; certificates issued to you will then no longer be verifiable.
• Newsletter: every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link.
• Analytics: change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings".

We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), store passwords only in scrambled form, encrypt sensitive settings, limit our team's access by role, keep CVs, receipts and student documents in private storage, and make batch details and documents available only to the students they are for. No website can be completely secure, so please keep your password private, and don't forward the private application link we email you: anyone with it can see your application's status. You can ask for a new link at any time, which stops the old one working.

Children

Our services are intended for adults and businesses. If you are under 18, please use the website with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If the changes are significant, we will let account holders know by email.
